The Problem
The client managed an anime and manga portal with around 200 series distributed across multiple WordPress-built sites: slow loading, fragile architecture, and poor user experience. Additionally, the system needed to support an average of 50,000 daily active users with peaks of up to 200,000 during new chapter releases — something completely unviable with the previous infrastructure.
The Solution
We migrated and unified all content — around 200 series with thousands of chapters — into a single platform built from scratch with Laravel and React. We scraped the existing content, designed a modern and scalable architecture capable of absorbing traffic spikes, and integrated payment gateways for premium content. The result was a fast, secure system with continuous visual improvements.
Architecture
Results
The new unified platform completely replaced the previous WordPress sites. Page load speed improved dramatically, the system handles 200,000-user peaks without issue, and the user experience was elevated to a professional level. Ads and payment gateways were integrated, and the architecture facilitates continuous deployment of new features.
“We worked with the Nebula team on a complex project to build a web and mobile interface for our platform, involving more than 12 mockups and numerous components. The delivered work was of the highest quality: every screen matched the design faithfully, details were meticulous, and the responsive layout was handled perfectly.”
